Life bites you in the ass......with fangs!

For the first time in my life, i have been bitten, not due to my ignorance but due to my folly ( i believed and trusted someone so much, as i always do with friends, but i made the mistake of not checking the person out thoroughly )

Friends, Romans, Countrymen...lend me your ears.

Friendster, is a double edged sword. If you dont wield it properly, it can cut you in half, when you least expect it. Using it to find old friends is the ultimate good use, finding new friends is the one thing everyone should be wary of.
Trusting a person you just met, with your life, or something personal and secret just like that is so naive...i was stupid also lah, not just naive. Then rumours spread, by word of mouth, until it came full circle, thankfully to someone i trust. She opened my eyes to the situation and gave well recieved advice.

People used to tell me, dont trust anyone Joshua, no matter how close they are. I refused to believe. Now i need to apply it to all NEW friendships i have forged, sadly. Those that have been through thick and thin with me since i came here, i KNOW i can trust them, i just have to be more careful, MUCH MORE, and not get crushed again. i cant afford it.

on another note.

God has a way of bringing people into your life, who you know will stay. but one will stay NEXT to you till you die. I dont know if i have met that one, but i feel we have to connect face to face, before any decision is made, and His approval most importantly.
Someone who will support your ministry, and you hers. Serving Him as one, with one vision.
That is the most important compatibilty...second are your characters. third, your likes/dislikes.

Back to the future (present lah!)

So...back to Singapore it was, after a long holiday in Marriott, Putrajaya. A wonderful place, totally magnificent and grand...more like a palace. its was totally gorgeous. the rooms were superb and the swimming pool was so big. the food was good, and most of all, the sessions with Jonathan David were excellent...the highlight of the camp. 7 churches having 1 church camp...the amount of people was huge. it provided so many opportunuties to meet new people and new friends. and the session with the youth was great! like jumping jellybeans...we were. really wish my dim sum dollie and friends were there....would have been blessed....(and i'd get to see her lah).

i wish we could have stayed longer...like another day.and have more youth worship sessions.... the rivers of life church band was excellent man....a big hi to Mark, on the lead....so i guess im looking forward to more Jonathan David when he comes here...lol.

WARNING! CHURCH CAMP APPROACHING!

Finally the birthday is over....

IT WAS EXCELLENT!

And despite glitches with the video, everything went smoothly. patrick was happy, and so was everyone. everyone was beautiful. the most beautiful being 'pfft'. so there you have it, great food great people, and great music, and great decorations.

Church camp in Putrajaya, 17 to 20 June.

Will be playing in front of 2000 people! arrrrrgh!

Life in the Recovery Lane

Life is a beautiful pallate, a swirl of colours, a rainbow of thoughts, and shade of grey that is up to you to define.

Once again, emotions are changed and swirlled like oil on water, instigated by a single point of touch in your heart.

i wish my life were more exciting, alas, the NS Boy can only hope for the life of the Student, nothing to worry about except your exams.

this is a random rant, because Nemesisskywalker is bored to death.

My Grandma is here. and my cousin. miss them a lot, especially my grandma, cause...well you know why...at least i can look forward to egg thosais,and putu, and yellow fish, and idli, and everything i love.
